By: Darryl Gibson | Published: 2/10/2020

The Muskegon Green Party is very excited to be able to share a very special and important event!   Our good friends, The Lakeshore Water Protectors are hosting the first Lakeshore World Water Day Festival, right here in west Michigan!
Launching on Friday March 20, 2020 at 1800 in Muskegon at Harbor Unitarian Universalist church, 1296 Montgomery Ave, Muskegon, MI 49441-1719, with a wonderful potluck. Bring a dish to share and your food bundle (dinnerware) and join us as volunteers and steering team members  invite everyone to celebrate the beginning of the Festivities leading up to World Water Day March 22nd!  50/50 Raffle to benefit the event and an opportunity to connect.
On Saturday, from 1100-1200, the Walk for the Water, a peaceful, quiet walk to and for the water, will start at Grand Haven Central Park, walking down Washington to the sidewalk along the river and out to the State Park.  Dress for the weather!
After a break from our Walk for the Water, from 1300-1330, we'll take a few minutes to join hands and stand in solidarity for the water.
This is a two day event of fun, festivities and fellowship in celebration of our most precious natural resource.  Come stand with us!  Follow the link or contact the Lakeshore Water Protectors at
